Scott Liebers is about sound — either creating or capturing it.  His endless pursuit of the best sounds led him to develop his opamp products along with building acoustic guitars and mandolins.  A musician and woodworker from an early age, he chose audio engineering as a career path.  During his 10 years at Minnesota Public Radio recorded and broadcasted world class musicians and orchestras.  A typical workday now involves carving a mandolin top from a billet of spruce, repairing a family heirloom guitar, soldering opamps and restoring a vintage Neumann microphone — each task creating a superior sound.
